Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Definzo (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a slang dictionary. This policy explains what we collect and why — in plain English, no cap.
What we collect
Messages you send us
If you use our contact form, we get your name, email, and message — only so we can reply. We never sell or share it.
Freshness votes
When you vote on whether a word is still used, your vote is stored in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device — we don’t track who voted what.
Automatic technical data
Our host logs basics: IP address, browser type, pages visited. We use it for security and to see which words people love.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working. Disable them if you want — the dictionary still works.
How we use it
- To reply to your messages.
- To keep the site fast and secure.
- To see which slang entries readers love most.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.
Third parties
We use a small set of trusted services: our web host, caching software, and contact-form delivery. If we add analytics or ads later, we’ll update this policy first.
Children
Definzo is written to be fun for teens and adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child sent us personal info, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Your rights
Ask what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — via our Contact page.
Changes
We’ll update the date above if this policy changes. Keep using the site = you accept the updates.
